1. Assisting in the preparation of work plans for customs affairs in order to achieve the main objectives of the company
2. Attending the periodic meetings to which he is invited and related to the Directorate of Customs Affairs and assisting in issuing the appropriate decisions
3. Obtaining permits for importing and exporting goods from government agencies and customs centers
4. Preparing papers and documents related to the clearance of imported goods, and submitting them to the customs authorities
5. Preparing the permits, statements, and documents required for the goods intended for export, approving them legally, and submitting them to the customs authorities.
6. Delivery of shipping documents and permits, and checking and conforming imported or exported goods to shipping lists
7. Building friendly relations with all government departments and institutions, and customs agencies and centers
8. Monitoring government laws and legislations and updated customs regulations that may affect the company's work, and presenting them to the department manager for discussion and developing the necessary solutions.
9. Learn about new legislation and laws, and extract the difficulties that the work team may face in the practical application of these legislations
10. Familiarity with customs clearance procedures, extensive knowledge of customs laws, customs duties and taxes on goods
11. Contribute to proposing a budget, annual plans and programs for the Department of Customs Affairs
12. Ensure that all documents, papers, and permits required to clear goods comply with the signatures and credits, and comply with the applicable customs clearance law.
13. Obtaining inspection of shipments by the customs authorities, and following up on inspections and reports obtained therefrom
14. Follow up the daily clearance activities at the Customs and Free Zones Department, and work to clear goods in a timely manner without delay, to avoid paying fines, and work to prepare goods that have been cleared from customs and supervise their transfer from customs until they reach warehouses
15. Follow-up customs procedures continuously until the incoming goods are released
16. Tracking the movement of products imported by the company or that it wants to export until the completion of its customs clearance operations
17. Permanent access to the customs tariff and customs tax fees due on the goods that will be exported and imported.
18. Supervise the internal transportation of goods from the time they leave customs until they reach the warehouse
19. Submitting periodic reports to the Director of the Customs Affairs Department to indicate what has been accomplished, the percentage of completion, and what has been postponed, indicating the reason for the delay.
20. Statement of work impediments to the direct manager and the development and discussion of solutions
21. Ending all customs restrictions and commitments periodically and submitting detailed reports to the administration
