Job description:
- Building and developing the procurement department, drawing up procurement plans and drawing up policies and procedures.
- Provide the needs of each section of the raw materials and the appropriate budget.
- Building and developing an annual plan for the needs of the necessary raw materials.
- Permanent search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation.
- Building and developing strong relationships of suppliers and maintaining them.
- Borrowing, comparing and selecting the best from suppliers.
- Managing the negotiations with the suppliers regarding the quality of the product, prices, specifications, discounts, penalty conditions, returned goods, delivery mechanism, discounts, payment method and duration ... etc.
- Make a periodic plan with the end of each year and update policies and procedures.
- Building the various structures and models used in the procurement department.
- Keep internal and external purchase order files, quotations, contracts, forms used in the department and internal correspondence that belong to the department.
- Permanent communication with the warehouse management regarding the lack of inventory and the extent of storage / warehouse storage for quantities required from warehouses / and the movement of inventory turnover rate.
- Preparation of orders received from different departments and send / request by fax from accredited suppliers and follow up until receipt.
- Review suppliers' offers and respond positively or negatively.
- Follow-up changes in the prices of raw materials every day.
- Contact with the requesting party for the goods and follow-up with the suppliers to ensure delivery of the goods / materials required in a timely manner and in the appropriate manner.
- Annual evaluation of suppliers, classification and extension of their accreditation.
- Permanent demand from suppliers of a health certificate for raw materials used in manufacturing with the end or beginning of each year.
- There are goods imported from abroad require at least two months before the entry of the stock.
- Reporting to senior management in all these matters.
- Keeping the Department informed of the changes (building a database of complete suppliers, supplied materials, proposed offers, etc.).
- Match the goods received with the purchase orders and consignments.
Requirements:
  • Experience of 8-10 years
  • High planning capabilities. And negotiation.
  • Capabilities in drafting contracts, commercial correspondence and concluding business transactions.
