Job Description:
• Work on the development of used technologies and seek to modernize them and use modern and new technologies that are most developed and most worthy in terms of return on investment and their ability to achieve the company's strategy and plans in manufacturing
• Suggesting and participating in the preparation and implementation of initiatives and processes that reduce the unit cost of production and contribute to raising the unit profit margin in coordination with the marketing and sales departments and with the production manager in the factories.
Ensure the effective, feasible, technical and economical use of the factory assets such as production lines, machines, equipment, supplies, buildings and production or service facilities.
• Working on the use of human resources in the factory, preserving individual skills and competencies, encouraging them, developing them and developing their capabilities, giving them confidence, and their participation in improving the conditions of the factory and the results of its work, and limiting wasted time, whether caused by workers, machinery breakdowns, or unavailability of materials.
• Achieving goals and production schedules while ensuring product standards that have advantages that at least meet customer expectations and seek to exceed them for the better.
• Work to reduce costs in a way that does not harm the quality of the product, the reputation of the company and the confidence of customers in it, on the one hand, and prevents the waste of resources, the interruption of production lines, the absence of employment, the unavailability of resources, the different specifications, the low quality, the low productivity of a machine, or the obsolescence of its specifications
• Ensuring the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures, industrial security, and training workers on rescue plans and first aid, in cooperation with the Quality Department
Ensure that the product conforms to the standard specifications issued by the Saudi Standards and Metrology Organization (if any) and scientific specifications and standards (when there are no Saudi specifications and standards) and ensure that the specifications of ready-made products are stable and not fluctuate
• Confirming the examination of raw materials received and their conformity with specifications and coordination with the concerned departments such as the purchasing department and the warehouse department in the industrial sector and the supply department in the public administration
