- Planning, organizing, directing and controlling all activities related to the maintenance, repair and installation of fixed and mobile medical devices.
- Supervising the preparation of the work procedures manual for the maintenance of medical devices and updating it periodically according to best practices and requirements of the work need
- Supervising the development of work plans and programs and distributing them to medical device technicians to maintain and repair medical devices in specialized workshops
Supervising the preparation of plans and programs for continuous education and training for workers in the maintenance of medical devices
- Follow-up coordination with various departments regarding the implementation of the daily maintenance program and providing advice to workers, especially doctors, nurses and technicians regarding the importance of maintaining medical devices and ways of using and dealing with them
- Supervising the follow-up of medical devices that are sent for repair in workshops and equipment agencies outside the authority.
- Supervising the identification of medical devices and equipment needed by the entity in cooperation with the various medical and non-medical departments and determining the cost and sources of their purchase
- Supervising the indexing and keeping of transactions, files, user manuals and maintenance cards for each device and providing technical assistance to the medical device technician
- Submitting periodic reports on maintenance work, performing other tasks assigned to it within its competence and according to the needs of the place
