- The participation of senior management in developing strategies and work programs for the long, medium and short term, and defining the directions, policies, and objectives of the public entity and the objectives of the financial management.
- Supervising the preparation and drawing up of the estimated budget and the expected expenses of the Financial Affairs Department, departments and sections, and submitting them to the Director General for review and approval.
Monitoring expenditures and their general financial performance.
- Supervising the preparation, review and audit of the annual estimated budget for all departments.
Develop operational plans, programs, policies, and financial and accounting systems.
- Supervising all financial activities, which are represented in financial analysis and accounting and financial operations.
- Financial planning and work to control the financial performance of the department and departments within the specified budget.
- Analyzing and issuing financial reports and establishing financial practices that reduce costs and increase the effectiveness of financial performance.
- Work to monitor and control the resources and expenses of the entity and ensure that they are used in the correct and optimal use.
- Supervising the management of the entity's assets and financial resources and determining the best ways to direct them according to the entity's strategic directions.
Monitoring the overall performance of the Financial Affairs Department in relation to performance objectives and ensuring that corrective preventive measures are taken accordingly.
- Translating strategies to include internal development, raising performance, increasing productivity, and participating in their implementation.
- Issuing instructions, circulars, and administrative, organizational and technical decisions to achieve the plans and programs set and in line with the authorities and responsibilities approved in the authority’s authority matrix.
- Supervising and following up the process of preparing financial and accounting reports and monthly trial balances.
Preparing reports related to the financial risks facing the entity, stating their expected effects, and submitting them with appropriate recommendations.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in financial management
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
Proficiency in computers, Office programs and accounting software
Ability to prepare studies, reports and financial analysis
