- Managing and supervising the daily operations of the accounting department, for example, but not limited to: accounts payable and receivable, such as disbursement and receipt, making discounts and fines, updating balances .... etc., according to the company's policies
Providing recommendations and improving accounting and financial systems and procedures
Meeting the objectives of the Financial Accounting Department and creating financial files and records to document transactions
- Supervising the preparation of monthly and annual reports for all accounting operations and accounts
- Follow up on accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ensure the integrity of the cash receipts procedures and follow them until they are completed
Managing the accounting tasks and receiving the general ledger
- Reviewing and preparing all budgets, budgets and payroll
- Analyze the discrepancy in revenues and expenses periodically and raise proposals to increase revenues and reduce expenses
Implementation and follow-up of procedures for entering fixed and variable assets and calculating their depreciation
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and preparing financial statements and reports
Develop and implement appropriate accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinating and completing monthly and annual audits
Organizing projects and directing the work team to ensure accuracy in all accounting and financial operations as well as daily restrictions
Contribute to the completion of internal and external audits
Preparing proposals and regulations aimed at facilitating work and achieving better results
Preparing reports on the progress of work and the performance of employees, estimating their productivity, and determining the appropriate training needs for them
Supervising employees and directing them to follow the accounting and financial systems and rules, review their work and distribute work among them
- Reviewing all agreements and contracts and expressing opinions and suggestions for the benefit of the company
- Supervising the planning and organization of accounting and financial work and following up on the implementation of various operations
- Supervising the organization and follow-up of accounting records and books, ensuring the integrity of entries, and following up on their daily closing
- Supervising the study, preparation and analysis of accounts of all kinds
- Work on tax and zakat returns, ensure their validity and integrity, and submit them on time
- Track the company's obligations and rights with others and work to settle them by collecting dues or paying obligations on appropriate dates
- Carrying out a sudden and periodic inventory of the company’s sites, making reconciliations, inventorying the differences, if any, and preparing the necessary adjustments.
Requirements:
7 years experience, including 3 years as Head of Accounting Department
