Experience in scheduled repair and maintenance of a variety of Ground Support Equipment
- Able to troubleshoot electrical faults in powered equipment and repair impact
Proficient in using wiring diagrams in unit troubleshooting, unit repair and reporting
Ability to follow instructions
Work productively and proactively under pressure
Roles and responsibilities:
Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting and maintaining ground support equipment used in direct aircraft support and overseeing support equipment maintenance activities
Perform scheduled maintenance on all life of energy related and powered equipment
Troubleshoot and implement repairs at all powered and unpowered ages
Provide receipt and delivery of ground support equipment to support flight line maintenance
Proficient in preserving orders and technical publications
Troubleshooting and complete preventive maintenance of ground service equipment (whether automatic or non-automatic)
The work will include diagnostic testing and repair of gas engines, transmissions, suspension and brake systems
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, heavy industrial equipment, including large aircraft air conditioners, air starters, and ground electric power units
- Spotlight trucks may be driven and operated when accidents or other emergencies occur
- You may place warning flares around airports during power outages or emergencies
- Perhaps when constantly calling for emergency repairs
