- The IT Coordinator / Moderator coordinates the daily installation and use of the hotel systems, including but not limited to property management system, point of sale system, telephone key, call accounting system, back office and inventory system. It is also responsible for identifying and solving the system problem.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reports to the IT Manager include the responsibilities and functions of the core functions, but not limited to:
Plan, implement and coordinate system installation within the approved table and budget.
Provide technical assistance in support of the menstrual cycle.
Assist the system manager in planning, organizing and developing structured training for hotel staff.
Diagnose and solve hardware and software problems.
Provide all vendors with instructions, materials and supplies needed for effective operation of the system.
Oversee system logs.
Works in compliance with all local, state and state authorities.
Keep the system software running.
Maintain application software configuration and security files.
Input changes as required.
Maintain user manuals and documentation for your computer.
Provide user guides to users of sections as required.
Maintain system activity logs, including saves, updates, and issues.
Prepare a summary each week and distribute it to department heads.
Make sure that the correct backup of files and libraries is properly backed up and stored off-site.
Serves as the hotel's operations manager and heads of help departments with training assessment.
Assist in the planning, organization and development of training manuals departments.
Ensure these guides are updated by the manager.
