1. Develop a long, medium and short term plan for electrical and mechanical maintenance for all customers in cooperation with the concerned authorities.
2. Providing studies related to electrical and mechanical constructions that serve the company's business.
3. Supervising the implementation of daily maintenance.
4. Adopting the requirements of the required materials, equipment and spare parts for the Maintenance Department and its request from the Purchasing Manager and following up on their insurance.
5. Adopting the human resources requirements for the Directorate's work in cooperation with the Human Resources Department.
6. Contribute in identifying and approving the training needs of the employees of the Directorate in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
7. Work on the implementation of quality procedures in the Directorate of Civil Defense in coordination with the Department of Quality and Occupational Safety.
8. Holding periodic meetings of the staff of the maintenance department to discuss the work procedures, the extent of implementation of the agreed plan, and draw the difficulties that face them in the performance of their duties, and work to resolve.
9. Training the personnel working in maintenance management on their work and transferring their expertise to them.
10. Prepare periodic reports on the work of the Maintenance Department, including all the achievements, obstacles and solutions proposed for the development of work and performance and submitted to the Director General.
11. Participate in the meetings to which he is invited and give an opinion on the results and decisions.
12. Supervise the observance of individual and industrial safety when carrying out maintenance work.
13. Work on transferring experiences and skills to the rest of the team.
14. Follow up the results of periodic inspection of all mechanical and electrical equipment in the company
