Objective of the job:
- Supervising the production processes of plant powders (such as ground herbs and dry extracts) and ensuring the highest levels of quality and production efficiency are achieved while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Daily supervision of vegetable powder production lines (grinding, drying, sifting, mixing, packing)
- Organizing and distributing work to the production team to ensure the achievement of production plans
- Monitor product quality during all production stages and ensure it conforms to specifications
- Follow up on the performance of equipment (such as mills, dryers, and mixers) and coordinate with maintenance when needed
- Adjusting production processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Commitment to applying occupational safety and health standards, especially with regard to dust and plant materials
- Preparing daily production reports and performance analysis
- Training employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensuring the cleanliness of production lines and preventing cross-contamination.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of production or manufacturing
Previous experience in powder or botanical product production lines (herbal, supplement, or food/pharmaceutical related industries) preferred.
Knowledge of grinding, drying and packaging processes for plant materials
