- Providing an exceptional coffee experience to customers by preparing high-quality coffee and distinctive drinks, ensuring excellent customer service, while maintaining the cleanliness and order of the work area.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing coffee and drinks:
- Preparing specialty coffee drinks using espresso machines and various brewing devices
- Control coffee grind quality, espresso pressure, and milk temperature
- Innovation in preparing seasonal or specialty coffee drinks
Customer Service:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Providing advice on different types of coffee and preparation methods
- Dealing with complaints or inquiries in a positive and prompt manner
Inventory and equipment management:
- Follow up on the inventory of coffee, milk, and other supplies
- Periodically clean and maintain coffee machines and preparation tools
- Report any malfunctions or shortages in equipment or raw materials
Commitment to standards:
- Applying hygiene, health and safety standards
- Adherence to food safety procedures
- Follow up on beverage quality standards and ensure that they are served consistently
Professional development:
- Participation in specialized coffee training
- Follow the latest preparation methods and trends in the coffee industry
Requirements:
Practical experience in preparing specialty coffee (preferred)
Knowledge of types of grains and different roasting and fermentation methods
A passion for the world of coffee and a willingness to continuously learn
Excellent communication and customer service skills
