- Perform welding operations on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes in the 6G position.
- Utilize Arc and Argon welding processes to join and weld pipes according to specified welding procedures and standards.
- Interpret and understand welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of welds.
- Prepare and set up welding equipment, including selecting proper welding tools, electrodes, and gas supplies.
- Clean, prepare, and inspect materials to be welded, ensuring they meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to identify defects, ensuring adherence to welding codes and standards.
- Perform welding repairs or modifications as needed, maintaining the integrity and strength of the welded components.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages to the supervisor.
