- Consulting with clients on business start-up and expansion plans, including helping them develop a business plan
- Preparing financial forecasts and analyses of business operations to help clients make informed business decisions
- Preparing sales proposals and presentations for potential clients, including developing marketing strategies and plans to promote products or services
- Coordinating with legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to business activities
- Providing advice on human resources issues such as hiring decision making, training programs, employee benefits, labor relations, compensation plans, discrimination policies, and employee handbooks
- Reviewing financial statements, reports, and other documents to determine whether they meet legal requirements or conform to industry standards
- Assisting clients in identifying new markets and improving existing operations by performing feasibility studies, market analyses, and other research projects
- Evaluating business opportunities to determine whether they are viable and advising clients regarding potential risks and rewards
- Preparing financial reports such as budgets and forecasts for clients’ businesses
