- Assist in preparing work plans for customs affairs to achieve the company’s main objectives
- Attending the periodic meetings to which he is invited pertaining to the Directorate of Customs Affairs and assisting in issuing appropriate decisions
- Obtaining permits for importing and exporting goods from government agencies and customs centers
- Preparing documents and documents related to the clearance of imported goods, and submitting them to the customs authorities
- Preparing the necessary permits, statements, and documents for goods intended for export, legally approving them, and submitting them to the customs authorities.
- Deliver shipping documents and permits, and verify and match imported or exported goods to shipping lists
- Building friendly relations with all government departments, institutions, customs authorities and centers
- Monitoring new laws, government legislation, and customs regulations that may affect the company’s work, and presenting them to the department director for discussion and developing the necessary solutions.
- Identifying new legislation and laws, and identifying the difficulties that the work team may face in the practical application of those legislation
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures, and extensive knowledge of customs laws, customs duties and taxes on goods.
- Contributing to proposing an annual budget, plans and programs for the Customs Affairs Department
- Ensure that all documents, documents and permits required to clear goods meet the signatures and approvals, and are in accordance with the applicable customs clearance law.
- Obtaining inspection of shipments through customs authorities, and following up on inspections and reports extracted from them
- Follow up on daily clearance activities at the Customs and Free Zones Department, and work to clear the goods in a timely manner without delay, to avoid paying fines, and work to prepare the goods that have been cleared from customs and supervise their transportation from customs until they reach the warehouses.
- Continuously follow up on customs procedures until the incoming goods are released
- Tracking the movement of products that the company has imported or wants to export until the completion of customs clearance operations
- Constant review of the customs tariff and customs tax fees due on the goods that will be exported and imported.
- Supervising the internal transportation of goods from the time they leave customs until they arrive at warehouses
- Submitting periodic reports to the Director of the Customs Affairs Department to indicate what has been accomplished, the percentage of completion, and what has been postponed, mentioning the reason for the postponement.
- Explaining work obstacles to the direct manager and developing and discussing solutions
- Work to end all customs restrictions and commitments on a regular basis and submit detailed reports to the administration
- Archiving the files for each shipment with all documents and papers
Requirements:
Experience in the field of customs clearance
Conduct a toxicology test
