- Must have knowledge of Life Safety Code Analysis
- Must have at least 5-8 years of experience in Fire Alarm Design and Fire Suppression Design of Sprinkler system, Hydraulic calculations, Fire Hydrant system, Foam System & FM200 / CO2 Gas System. Have knowledge of diesel and electric pumps, Jokey pumps etc...
- Working knowledge of NFPA standards and state fire codes if required.
- Must have experience performing and reviewing hydraulic calculations.
- Maintains daily log of work order details.
- Job duties include design, preparation of tender bids, pricing of project, installing and programming engineered fire alarm systems. Duties also include performing on-site emergency troubleshooting, repairing our customers' engineered fire systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and making recommendations regarding system installations. Duties may include servicing engineered systems and installation of other fire suppression systems.
- Fire protection designer sprinkler designer HVAC engineer mechanical engineer for Viking systems, Edwards/Ge fire alarm systems.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of NFPA standards & fire codes if required. • Must have experience in design and layout of fire sprinkler systems. • Must have experience performing FM200 Gas Suppression Systems installations & design calculations. • Design and installation for SEVO- NOVEC-1230 systems. • Must have experience designing special hazard systems. • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
