- Carrying out regular follow-up examinations and periodic and emergency analyzes of the herds of dead mothers
- Comprehensive periodic inspection of the hatchery and distribution unit and maintenance regularly
- Periodic examination of day-old chicks to obtain the finest chick with high immunity and free of vertical diseases
- Conducting periodic inspection of customers’ farms to ensure the safety of their flocks, which will return to the company a high rate of customer satisfaction
- Reviewing the biosecurity procedures in the Al-Amat project and reviewing the disinfectants used for that
- Follow up on biosecurity procedures for the project staff to ensure that they are free of common diseases with chickens
Preparing the operational plan and the estimated budget for the laboratory management, implementing the plan and sticking to the budget
- Updating the policies, procedures, systems and regulations governing the work of the laboratory management
- Participation in workshops and periodic meetings with the general manager and directors of departments
Determine laboratory needs and follow up on their supply
- Periodic visits to the project, hatchery and customer farms, if necessary
Preparing a database for examinations and analyzes for each dead herd
- Issuing periodic reports on the performance of the veterinary laboratory (daily - weekly - monthly)
Requirements:
5 to 10 years of experience in the field of veterinary laboratories is preferred
Ability to work with ERP software
Practical and scientific experience in veterinary medical analysis and veterinary medicines
Experience in scientific research and scientific development
Fluent in spoken and written English language
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, powerpoint)
Bachelor of Microbiology (Microbiology) Minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4 or 3.75 out of 5
