- A loading and unloading supervisor is required to work for the International Timber Company, supervising warehouses, loading and unloading materials, and participating in truck loading management and finding the best delivery methods.
Logistics Supervisor Job Duties:
- Scheduling shipments and deliveries
- Ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods
Supervising the transportation of goods from one location to another, arranging their pick-up and delivery with shipping companies accordingly
- Changing defective products, products shipped to customers by mistake
Handling and supporting all client requirements using all possible sources
- Building relationships with sellers, shipping companies, warehouse supervisors, customs brokers, sales representatives and customers
Ensure that all parties work together to ensure shipments are packed, dispatched and delivered in a timely manner
- Communicate with different carriers to get freight quotes and decide on the best one in terms of cost, availability and reliability
Study customer needs and manage inventory based on those needs
Reorder products as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
Requirements:
Practical experience of at least three years in the field of sending materials and goods issued in a logistics environment
Practical experience in the field of (supply chain / logistics)
