Summary of responsibilities:
Inform the General Manager of the responsibilities and functions of the primary job
Personally welcoming all internal/external guests, providing support and directing inquiries
- Providing consistently professional, friendly and engaging service
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office
- Prioritize all phone calls and visitors in person and schedule appointments
Providing all office management duties such as written correspondence, mail, photocopying, and ordering office supplies
Maintain the confidentiality of the filling system for correspondence, policies, standards, regulations and various matters related to the Office of the Director General
Assist department leaders in completing special projects as required
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a management role
- University/College degree in a related field as an asset
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Responsible and very reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
The ability to focus attention on the guest's needs, and remain calm and polite at all times
