job description:
Follow up on accounts to identify overdue payments, find and contact debtors to arrange debt payments, maintain accurate records and prepare reports on collection activity
Follow up on accounts to determine outstanding debts
- Follow-up and update customer accounts upon receipt of financial payments, and review all accounts to maintain up-to-date records of payments
- Inform debtors of the payment status and payment schedules
- Check the previous data for each debt or invoice
- Negotiate settlements with clients to ensure repayment of bad debts
- Find and communicate with customers to inquire about late payments
Take action to encourage timely debt repayment
- Processing payments and refunds
- Resolving billing and customer credit issues
Alert and notify the concerned officials of debtors who are unwilling or unable to pay and repay their debts
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Preparing reports on collection activity and status of accounts receivable
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties assigned to him by the direct manager
