- Discover suppliers, start contracting, and create business and organizational partnerships
- Negotiating with sellers to secure appropriate quality and price terms
- Approval of the request for the necessary goods and services from the various departments
- Finalize details of purchase orders and delivery
Examining and testing existing contracts and ascertaining contract renewal dates
- Follow up on requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements
Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets
- Building and developing the purchasing department, developing purchasing plans and drawing up policies and procedures
Providing the needs of each department of raw materials and setting the appropriate budget
- Building and developing an annual plan for the needs of the necessary raw materials
Constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation
Building, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships
Make a periodic plan at the end of each year and update policies and procedures
- Building the various structures and models used in the Procurement Department
Maintain files of internal and external purchase requisitions, quotations and contracts
Constant communication with warehouse management regarding stock shortages, warehouse capacity, and stock turnover movement
Preparing incoming orders from different departments, sending them to approved suppliers, and following them up until receiving them
Reviewing suppliers' offers and responding to them positively or negatively
- Liaising with the party requesting the goods and following up the required materials in a timely and appropriate manner
- Follow up on changes that appear on the prices of raw materials on a regular basis
