Job description:
Job objective:
- Implementing the accounting system established for the city and ensuring the accuracy, correctness, and smooth flow of the financial documents cycle, preparing final accounts and periodic financial reports, managing, coordinating and following up the implementation of accounting and financial plans, systems and procedures, issuing financial reports, monitoring and controlling the city’s resources and expenses, ensuring that they are used correctly according to the budget and fruitful financial plans and making recommendations And submit it to the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs in relation to all matters that have a financial impact on the debtor's situation
Roles and responsibilities:
Implementing the financial and accounting procedures approved by the city and the company
Control over all documents issued and received by the Accounting Department, to ensure that they are correct and that they contain the necessary signatures
Reviewing the registration vouchers and approving them before registering them in the concerned accounts
Supervising the registration of all registration documents in its concerned accounts and in accordance with the applicable computer systems and programs and on the basis of the approved accounting cycle
Collecting, following up and keeping accounts receivable and payable statements and checking accounts receivable age tables monthly
Supervising the issuance of exchange vouchers and preparing the checks related to them after ensuring the validity of the attached documents and following up on obtaining the necessary signatures on the checks in accordance with the powers in force
- Preparing monthly bank settlement statements, showing the differences, if any, informing the financial director for review, and preparing the necessary settlement entries
Supervising the periodic and annual inventory of fixed assets and materials and matching them with the relevant account balances
Supervising the preparation of trial balances and financial reports, studying and analyzing them, then submitting them to the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs
Preparing final accounts at the end of the fiscal year
Proposing the development of the company's general financial policies and submitting them to the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs for approval
Developing the company's long and short-term financial plans and submitting them to the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs with his recommendations regarding their approval
Keep a complete copy of the financial and accounting system applied in the city and work to develop it according to the circumstances and needs of the city and present it to the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs for approval and approval
Ensure that all departments adhere to the financial instructions of the city and the company
- Contacting financial institutions on behalf of the city such as banks, insurance companies and others, and resolving issues related to the city's finances, such as problems opening accounts, granting facilities, or opening documentary credits, in coordination with the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs
Review contracts and all obligations before concluding them with others to determine their financial impact on the city and make observations on them

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Accounting or Financial Management or Master of Accounting or Financial Management is preferred accounting certificates specialized
  • Five years experience for a Bachelor's degree and two years experience for a Master's degree
  • Full knowledge of accounting matters
  • Good command of the English language
