- A decorative engineer (project manager) is required to work with our office in Riyadh to perform technical and technical work involving internal design efficiency to promote maximum internal space utilization. This person is responsible for planning, designing and drafting detailed specifications to create an internal and external satisfactory environment. Projects can be extensive, ranging from structural modifications to furniture selection, finishing and lighting
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage internal projects for design offices
* Work on a summary, which details what space will be used for, and learn about personal ideas and client requirements.
* Survey of site areas.
* Conduct research, to make sure that plans are technically feasible.
* Production of graphics drawings and the first board.
* Develop detailed designs, using CAD programs to produce final design drawings and specifications within budget constraints.
* Preparation of building documents, detailed drawings, writing specifications and bill quantities.
* Choose the most suitable materials for design and budget.
* Define the needs of interior architecture including the use of space, fabric and color selections of wall, earth and all related.
* Pick / Shop for furnishings, materials and equipment.
* Advise customers for choice, and provide them with samples of paints and fabrics to use.
* Supervise the work as it is implemented.
* Perform all related work as required.
Requirements:
Experience in managing internal projects for design offices
Great knowledge in preparing proposals and specifications for interior design work.
Knowledge of drafting procedures.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other designers and engineers.
Skills in designing internal modifications, renovations and new layouts.
Knowledge in CAD and 3DS Max software.
Great knowledge of internal design practices and principles.
