Job Description

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of drill rig equipment repair, maintenance management and responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ensures the highest level of safety, health and environmental work standards are

maintained.

• Ensures that mobile equipment’s technical repair methods are implemented according to

related Company standards (Standard Operating Procedures

• Ensures constant communication and coordination with other Departments (Drilling

Operation, Supply Chain, etc.) regarding equipment repairs availability, and spare parts.

• Monitors equipment and maintenance KPI’s (key performance indicators: machine

availability, machine utilization, efficiency etc).

• Provides efficient solutions for drill rig equipment repetitive breakdowns and guide

mechanics/fitters to ensure timely implementation of necessary actions.

• Ensures expected level of equipment performance by using modern maintenance

methods (predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance etc.).

• Monitors lifetime of drill rig equipment machines and submits report to immediate superior for machines needed to be restored.

• Ensures planning of drill rig equipment maintenance budget.

· Help , support and Carry out inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repairs on Surface exploration drill rigs

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or technical with 10 years exp.

• 5+ years supervisory experience handling drill rig maintenance in mining operations.

• Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written).

• Knowledgeable in MS Office applications and Maintenance Software/Program.
