Job Description
The Security and Safety Supervisor manages safety and security programs and related activities, ensuring compliance with government policies, directives and procedures; In addition to developing and directing an organizational security and safety strategy; Oversees the implementation of efforts to reduce loss; Enhances security and reduces risk; Serves as the principal safety and internal security advisor to the organization; Train employees to follow, supervise and coordinate security and safety instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible about the framework necessary to ensure safety and security operations, policies and procedures; Overseeing the rectification of all matters in the interest of safety, security and risk reduction.
• Assess program risks and assist in developing appropriate strategy.Lead investigations, audits and security inspections.
• Determine the safety requirements of the client.
• Recommend new policies, procedures, programs and services for continuous improvement.
• coordination with site management and supervisors while ensuring compliance with security and safety rules Provide direction to management and staff; Contribute to the strategic planning process.
• Facilitate training programs for employees in relation to public safety and other regulatory requirements; Review and improve exercises as necessary.
• Carry out all permits related to the contract.
• implementation of the safety policy set by the facility or establishment.
qualifications & Experience:
• technical with 5 years experience in drilling operations , Bachelor’s Degree Mining/ Geology is a plus.
• Strong knowledge with iso certificates 14000 , 45000, Osha, first aid
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices in drilling operations.
• Fluency in English language.
