Job description:
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandise Assistant to support our merchandising team. The ideal candidate will assist in product selection, inventory tracking, showroom management, and warehouse coordination. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth merchandising operations and maintaining optimal stock levels across various locations.

Key Responsibilities: Product & Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring proper stock availability.
- Support in placing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
- Monitor stock replenishment and communicate with warehouses to maintain timely restocking.
- Assist in resolving stock discrepancies and liaise with showroom and warehouse teams.
Showroom & Warehouse Coordination:
- Work closely with the showroom team to ensure product displays align with merchandising plans.
- Assist in organizing showroom layouts and updating product placement based on sales trends.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock movement, replenishment, and transfers.
- Ensure smooth logistics between the showroom and warehouse, minimizing delays in stock availability.
Merchandising & Sales Support:
- Support the merchandising team in preparing product listings, pricing updates, and promotions.
- Assist in analyzing sales performance and trends to optimize product assortment.
- Help with SKU creation, data entry, and system updates for new products.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to ensure proper in-store and online presentation.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, tracking product performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to support buying decisions.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving stock and recommend markdowns or promotions.
Administrative & General Support:
- Maintain accurate records of product specifications, pricing, and showroom stock levels.
- Assist in processing invoices and ensuring payments are aligned with orders.
- Support seasonal buying and planning by preparing product samples and presentations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, logistics, and store operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field is not required but a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or inventory management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Passion for retail, fashion, and consumer trends
