Job description:
- A director of the Legal Affairs Office is required to work with the executive management of Al -Rajhi Company for Building and Development
Job type: full time / executive level

The purpose of the job:
- The head of legal affairs (CLAO) shall the role of the main legal advisor to the Executive Director and the senior management, and is responsible for supervising all legal and regulatory issues and compliance within the company. This role aims to reduce legal risks and ensure the company's commitment to all applicable laws and regulations

Main responsibilities:
Strategic legal advice:
Providing specialized legal advice to the Executive Director, the Board of Directors, and senior management on institutional strategies, operational operations, and risk management
Interpretation of laws, regulations and rulings to ensure the legal compliance of the company
Companies and Compliance:
- Supervising corporate governance policies and ensuring commitment to all local, regional and international laws and regulations, as necessary
Leadership of developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to enhance the culture of compliance
Contract Management:
- Review, drafting and negotiations on a wide range of contracts, including commercial contracts, alliances, partnerships, purchases, real estate, employment, and licensing agreements
Development and management of contract templates and approvals
Field and settlement settlement:
Managing all legal issues, lawsuits, arbitration and dispute settlement
- Coordination with external legal advisers and representing the company in legal cases when needed
Risk management:
Identify and evaluate legal risks and suggest effective strategies to mitigate them through all the company's departments
Organizing training programs to raise legal awareness within the institution
Leadership and team management:
Leading and developing the internal legal team and coordination with external legal advisers
- Enhancing cooperation and building a high -performance legal team and is compatible with the company's goals
Requirements:
  • LLB Bachelor's degree (LLB) as a minimum; Those holding a master's or a master's degree (LLM) preferred
  • At least 7 years experience in the legal field, of which 5 years are in a legal executive position
  • Licensed to practice the profession
  • A comprehensive knowledge of corporate laws, commercial laws, labor laws, compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong experience in managing legal risks in a business environment, preferably in sectors such as construction, industry or manufacturing
  • Negotiation and excellent leadership skills
  • An obligatory English language
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
  • Strategic thinking and deep understanding of business
  • The ability to make decisions and solve problems
