Job duties and responsibilities:
- Work on implementing the purchasing process and ensuring that the organization’s needs for materials and services are met
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring compliance with agreed terms
- Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and conditions
- Ensure that all materials and services received comply with the required standards and quality
- Preparing and reviewing contracts with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials in a timely manner
- Assist in managing the procurement budget and ensuring optimal use of resources
- Providing periodic reports on the performance of procurement and suppliers and providing recommendations for improvement
- Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure purchasing decisions are made
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience in implementing purchasing operations and ensuring access to the required materials and services in iron and building materials at the best prices and quality
10 years of practical experience in the field of procurement
Excellent English language
Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office programs
Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain the best terms from suppliers
Skill in building strong relationships with suppliers and strategic partners
Ability to analyze market trends and make purchasing decisions
Deep understanding of preparing and reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with agreed terms
Good understanding of the iron and building materials market
