Basic missions:
- Design and installation of communications systems:
- Design and implementation of communications networks, whether wired or wireless
- Determine the required devices and equipment, and choose the appropriate software for the network’s needs
- Set up and install routers, switches, and other communications equipment
Maintenance and troubleshooting:
- Monitoring the performance of communications systems to ensure their effectiveness and detect any problems or malfunctions
- Troubleshooting to ensure smooth network operation
- Updating hardware and software to ensure that systems continue to operate according to the latest standards
Network requirements analysis:
- Understand the requirements of the organization and customers to ensure the design of a communication system that meets their needs
- Providing appropriate recommendations and improvements to improve performance and efficiency
Cybersecurity and network protection:
- Implement security solutions to prevent unauthorized access and protect sensitive data and information
- Updating security policies and protection strategies periodically
Providing technical support:
- Providing technical support to employees and customers in the field of communications and solving their problems
- Providing training and guidance to employees on how to use communications systems safely and effectively
Future planning and expansion:
- Work with other teams to plan and develop future expansions in the network according to the growth of the organization
- Evaluating new technologies and analyzing their benefits for possible inclusion within the network infrastructure
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of network protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP)
At least 3 years of experience
Proficiency in English language, spoken and written
Solid understanding of hardware such as routers, switches, and gateways
Experience with network analysis programs and monitoring tools
Knowledge of the basics of cybersecurity and encryption techniques
Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
