- We are seeking for a quantity surveyor and cost estimator engineer to join our growing construction management team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and quantifying construction materials, performing cost estimates, and supporting project budgeting and financial controls.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to identify and quantify required materials, labor, and equipment
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs
- Provide regular cost reporting and forecasting to project managers and clients
- Support the procurement process by preparing bid packages and evaluating subcontractor quotes
- Maintain cost records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with project closeout activities, including final cost reconciliation
- Collaborate with project engineers, superintendents, and other team members to optimize cost efficiency
Requirements:
Recent graduationBachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Electrical engineering construction management, or a related field estimating, or a similar construction role
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials
Professional in using estimating software, spreadsheets, and other quantification tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and math skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
