General Requirements:
- Shall be able to speak and write good English and Arabic.
- Shall be able to control a large group of engineers, technicians, storekeepers, tally clerks, labourers, vehicle drivers and equipment operators.
- Shall have good planning ability, in estimating the resource requirements and able to allocate resources appropriately.
- Shall be competent to manage emergencies and crisis situations effectively.
- Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in warehouse management and other related jobs in the Oil and Gas Process Industry.
- Shall have a thorough knowledge and experience in activities like material receiving, issuing, stocks checking, materials storing, store handling and rigging.
- Shall have a though knowledge of computer-based warehouse operation systems. Preferably adequate knowledge in SAP system.
- Shall have very good PC knowledge and related programs like Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint …).
- Shall have knowledge of maintenance of cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Shall have a thorough knowledge and experience of the proper handling, storage and preserving methods for non-hazardous and hazardous material.
Requirements:
Shall have a bachelor’s degree
Shall be computer literate and able to work with specialized material management computer program packages
