- Evaluating patients: He evaluates patients’ condition, analyzes their symptoms and basic breathing functions, and collects information about the patients’ medical and social history.
- Conducting breathing tests: He performs various breathing tests to evaluate the functions of the lungs and the ability of the respiratory system to transport oxygen and remove carbon dioxide.
- Applying and managing respiratory treatments: It implements and administers appropriate respiratory treatments for patients, such as delivering oxygen via ventilators, implementing breathing therapy sessions and moving phlegm, and determining appropriate medications to dilate the bronchi.
- Working in intensive care: Provides specialized respiratory care to patients who require mechanical breathing support, careful monitoring of respiratory functions, and regulation of oxygen flow rate and air pressure.
- Patient Orientation and Education: Instructs patients and their family members on the use of home respiratory equipment, implements treatment plans, and provides education on symptom management and prevention.
- Collaboration with Health Care Teams: Collaborates with chest physicians and other specialists to provide coordinated, comprehensive care for patients with breathing problems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the same field
Valid membership in the Commission for Health Specialties
