- Assisting in preparing the patient: Assisting in transporting the patient to the anesthesia room, assisting in placing him on the anesthesia bed and connecting him to the necessary monitoring and breathing equipment.
- Monitoring the patient: He monitors the availability of the patient’s respiratory function and measures pressure and pulse on a regular basis during the period of anesthesia.
- Implementing doctors’ instructions: He accurately implements the anesthesia doctors’ instructions, such as giving anesthetic medications, adjusting the level of anesthesia, and providing the necessary support to the patient during the operation.
- Providing comfort and care: He works to provide comfort and care for the patient during the anesthesia period, such as providing the necessary means for general anesthesia and giving the necessary orders to the patient.
- Maintaining hygiene and safety: Adheres to hygiene and safety standards in the anesthesia room and follows infection prevention procedures.
- Dealing with risks and emergency situations: He is familiar with the procedures for dealing with risks and emergency situations that may occur during anesthesia, and provides immediate assistance in the event of problems related to anesthesia.
- Communication and coordination: Communicates and cooperates effectively with the anesthesia team, the surgical team, and the rest of the medical team to ensure the patient’s safety and the success of the operation.
