- Communicating with all suppliers in the company
- Choosing the appropriate time for purchases according to the company’s system and the procurement plan
- Accurately manage the supply chain of the company’s materials
- Comparing materials prices with previous prices
- Negotiating prices and studying contracts according to each case and each product
- Review the sales manager before submitting any purchase order in order to study the market for each item, study the available stocks and their expiration dates, and determine the stock level (maximum - minimum - reorder point).
- Check with the logistics department before ordering each item to find out the possibility of requesting import permits, clearances, or receiving purchases.
- Adjusting the specifications and quantities of the required purchases and ensuring that they are obtained at the right time, with the best quality and at the lowest cost
- Setting priorities in procurement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering
At least 10 years of experience in the agricultural field
Proficiency in English, spoken and written
Proficiency in using computers and office programs
Previous experience in procurement
The ability to communicate and cooperate with all departments of the company
