Responsibilities:
Plan and implement greenhouse construction projects, including design of structures and team supervision
Review designs submitted by suppliers/consultants/contractor? ?n, by working as part of the production team
Overseeing all aspects related to greenhouse maintenance once construction is completed
mission:
Greenhouse Design Department:
Analyzing project requirements and reviewing the design of greenhouse structures according to the specifications and needs of protected agriculture
- Reviewing the design components of mechanics, electricity, irrigation and refrigeration
- Taking into account the surrounding conditions and controlling the environmental variables inside the greenhouses in the designs
Supervision of contractors on site:
Develop a comprehensive list of the scope of work and the outputs of contract documents for each product
Supervising the implementation of the infrastructure and installation of greenhouses, in coordination with the concerned teams
Oversee all phases of the project from planning to implementation, taking into account timelines and quality standards
Manage and maintain records of engineering schedules and create files for all projects
Supervision of contractors and suppliers on site
Ensure the accuracy and completion of projects
Facility maintenance:
Ensure project quality by monitoring the quality of greenhouses, equipment and infrastructure components
Develop and lead maintenance programs for all equipment in greenhouses
- Negotiating maintenance contracts
- Supervision of the maintenance team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering or a related field
5-12 years of experience as an agricultural engineer or project manager
