Create store goals and communicate restaurant goals to employees
- Drives incremental sales growth by encouraging suggestive selling techniques daily
Controls (cost control, cash flow, expenses, etc.) and their impact on store profitability
Ensures that all cash handling and cash register functions are carried out in an accurate and consistent manner, and in full compliance with the company's monetary policy procedures
- Ensure store staff respond to customer complaints to achieve recovery
Support the store team in maintaining equipment
Assist the management team to implement new marketing programmes, including POP display
- Drives product quality, taking corrective action when necessary to ensure quality
Manage the preparation of the restaurant report on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis
Ensures that appropriate types and quantities of materials, supplies, and food are ordered and stocked
Oversee the creation of a fun/challenging environment, and lead monthly/quarterly communications
Engage all employees by celebrating successes, rewarding positive performance, and providing leadership/direction to improve results
Monitor the implementation of in-store training processes and procedures for all employees and follow up to ensure overall implementation of training standards
Implement detailed and timely store directives for new employees
Supports and directs employees by coaching, counseling, and teaching to accomplish tasks and remove barriers to satisfaction with performance
Oversee the facilitation of the development of all employees using performance appraisal
Review the form and other tools to enable career advancement
Oversees the management of employee relations issues as directed by the HR policy and communicates with appropriate supervisors in a timely manner
- To run shift occasionally and always to train the Shift Supervisor on how to run an effective shift
Effective communication between his line manager and his employees
Ensure 100% adherence to standard procedures.
Provide daily targets to the shift manager
Ensure that everyone follows hygiene and safety regulations
- Dealing with customer inquiries and complaints
- Oversee in-store ordering and scheduling
