- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify any problems or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines, to ensure they are running smoothly
Troubleshoot and fix any problems that arise with machinery or equipment
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Assess the need for spare parts and order as necessary
Provide training to other maintenance personnel and operators on how to properly use and maintain equipment
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce the risk of equipment failure
Participate in the design and modification of equipment to improve its performance and extend its life span
Ensure all maintenance and repair work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
