1- Preparing plans and programs for installing medical devices such as radiology and wave imaging devices, diagnostic and treatment devices, and training users on their operation
2- Diagnose medical device malfunctions, follow up on repair and maintenance procedures, and perform the necessary checks to ensure accurate performance
3- Preparing preventive maintenance programs for medical devices according to the manufacturer's instructions and following up on their implementation
4- Develop work methods and procedures and keep abreast of technical developments
5- Preparing documents and reports specialized in engineering works and projects, their progress, displaying, clarification and keeping them in their database in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
6- Maintaining the integrity of the university’s assets and buildings, preparing a maintenance record for each of the university’s devices, and ensuring that any maintenance is recorded in this record periodically and continuously.
7- Coordination with technicians in preparing lists of spare parts necessary for periodic and emergency maintenance of all building equipment and devices
8- Submit a report on non-repairable devices and participate in preparing records of their destruction
9- Coordinating with maintenance technicians and ensuring that they carry out their job duties
10- Preparing periodic maintenance reports
11- Ensuring the correctness of procedures for correct handling of devices that contain chemical and radioactive materials
