Responsibilities:
• Draft and review supply and service specifications.
• Gathers, records, and completes purchase data.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Responsible for verifying the accuracy of all items received; checking correct pricing and correct standards of quality.
• Start a list for out of stocks/goods and not received items.
• Coordinate with store to check stock and place order as needed.
• Taking responsibility for purchasing of goods.
• Submit weekly report to manager reflecting accurate update on goods purchased and highlighting any issues.
• Coordinate with supplier for best possible delivery time the quality required for the project.
• Completes other related projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Supply chain management or higher.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
• 3 years working experience in the purchasing department required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal teams, customers and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends.
