Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for leading all technical activities in the factory according to regulatory Guidelines and requirements.
• Technical leadership & mentoring of product development.
• Represent and lead Company at external industry events, symposia’s and Conferences presenting and promoting the latest Company technologies and technical capabilities.
• Responsible for leading technical events in the region including education programs and specialized events at customer sites
• Setting of short and long terms strategies, policies and goals for technical departments.
• Monitoring the Operations performance against pre-set performance goals to ensure that progress is being made in the desirable direction and preventive /corrective actions are taken accordingly.
• Co-ordinate with functions Managers within the operations function to ensure smooth flow of information and timely deliveries of requirements.
• Providing operational and technical direction with regards to the various aspects and phases of the production processes to ensure professional and timely execution of the production processes within the allocated resources and budgets.
• International inspections and comply with GMPs
• Ensuring the proper provision of operational requirements to production plans.
• Continuously monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented methods and procedures.
• Evaluating and supporting the decisions concerning the procurement function to meet the quality of materials and their delivery requirements.
• Recommending appropriate training courses as per the pre-determined needs, evaluating their effectiveness, and monitoring their results.
Candidate Profile:
• Understanding of regulatory requirement for filing of generic products for domestic and international markets is desirable.
• Strategic thinker and demonstrated leadership & teamwork skills with ability to handle multiple projects at a time, ability to multi task, prompt decision making and problem solving ability required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prepare and present technical information.
• Project planning and/or excellent time and resource management skills/ prioritization processes.
• Demonstrated ability to function within a matrix organizational structure.
• Medical Device Establishing knowledge will be the added value.
