Collect cost information and maintain an expense database
Building data accumulation systems for the institution
Determine fixed costs (such as salaries, rent, and insurance)
Plan and record variable costs (for example, purchases of raw materials, operations costs)
Review the standard and actual costs of the institution
- Preparing budget reports (for the institution and for each department separately)
Analyzing and reporting the profit margins of the institution
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cost forecasts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions and direct enterprise expenditures
Requirements:
Proficiency in dealing with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel
Experience
The ability to handle confidential information
Able to manage time and deal with various tasks
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
