- Detail design work related to Electric Power Generation, including powerhouse layout installation drawings and special projects for both Caterpillar USA and Kiel built product ranges.
- Layout of new schemes from individual generators to multi-generator power systems, attachments, ancillary equipment, ancillary systems, control panel and switchgear systems for general arrangement, installation and detail requirements.
- Draughting for general, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Create 3-D models of all piping requirements for power station construction utilizing Bentley Auto Plant software.
- Produce Isometric drawings of piping system for transmission to customer.
- Formulate detailed cross-sections of piping trenches etc. fully annotated & dimensioned, allowing customer to install all pipes & valves, fittings with minimum in disruption & delay.
- Provide, in conjunction with Snr. Project Engineer, detailed interconnection diagram, allowing ready requirement definition, purchase & installtion of all wires / cables by customer.
- Visit sites to take measurements and incorporate in structural drawings.
- Establish requirements and procure all necessary technical literature CD’s.
