- We are looking for a skilled web developer to join our team for a long-term government project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate is someone with extensive technical expertise in the creation, maintenance, and administration of websites/web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to understand, gather and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications.
- Create websites, microsites, webpages, and newsletters using standard practices.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best development practices for the web.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Implement contingency plans in case the website goes down.
- Cooperate closely with the content manager and web designer.
الشروط والمهارات:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Web development.
Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, My SQL, and ASP.NET.
Solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, user interface (UI), User Experience (UX), and best development practices.
Experience in content management systems (WordPress and Drupal).
Basic knowledge of network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
Basic knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization process.
Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
Solid ability in both written and verbal communication in English.
